The Arianna String Quartet to perform in Fine Arts Series

The Arianna String Quartet will perform in Illinois College’s Rammelkamp Chapel on Saturday, March 24, at 7:30pm.

Note: The music group ONIX was previously scheduled to perform during this time, and had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. 

The Arianna String Quartet will perform in Illinois College’s Rammelkamp Chapel on Saturday, March 24, at 7:30pm. 

Hailed for their outstanding musicianship, the Arianna String Quartet has firmly established itself as one of America's finest chamber ensembles. Their performances have been praised for “tonal warmth, fastidious balance…expressive vitality” (Chicago Tribune).

Formed in 1992, the ASQ garnered national attention by winning the grand prize in the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, first prize in both the Coleman and Carmel Chamber Music Competitions, and being Laureates in the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition.

The concert is part of the college’s Fine Arts Series that brings a variety of inspiring and diverse musical performances to campus each year. Individual tickets for the Illinois College Fine Arts Series can be purchased for $15. Season tickets are available for $60 each. Students of all ages receive free admission.
