"From the time of its founding, Illinois College has embraced the principles of diversity and inclusion, and we will continue to do so. We believe that our common work is enhanced by the varied perspectives provided by people from a range of ethnic, national and religious backgrounds. These values guide us in interactions with one another and a fundamental respect for every individual undergirds our work together."
- President Barbara A. Farley
