<p>We are thrilled to welcome to Illinois College the accomplished organist <strong>Adrienne Cox</strong>. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Cox earned her doctorate from the University of Iowa after postgraduate study in Germany. She has performed extensively throughout the US and was a featured artist at the Spoleto Festival. Her program will feature a diverse array of works from the organ’s greatest composers and is sure to delight and inspire.</p>

<p>Adult season tickets are available for $70, which is a $20 savings over purchasing tickets individually. Adult tickets to individual concerts are available for $20 per concert, except for the family programs on Oct. 20 and Mar. 13, when adult tickets will be just $5. <p><strong>Ho Etsu Taiko</strong> brings its youthful, energizing and powerful sound back to the Fine Arts Series stage again. Heavily influenced by the Japanese-American tradition of taiko drumming, but also drawing from the variety of musical influences found in the greater Chicago area, Ho Etsu Taiko pushes the traditional envelope often performing at cultural events and festivals throughout the Midwest.</p>

<p>We conclude our 44th season with an exciting new group of friends, the <strong>Jose Gobbo Trio</strong>. The Jose Gobbo Trio is an equilateral triangle featuring Gobbo on guitar, <strong>Max Beckman</strong> on bass, and <strong>Jay Ferguson</strong> on drums. Individually, the musicians have performed around the world, including Brazil, Japan, and the prestigious Carnegie Hall. Praised for their “adventurous solos grounded in the jazz traditions” and “in-the pocket drumming” by Jazz Today, Gobbo and Ferguson are featured on Chip Stephen’s Organ Trio album “Transgressions”. Complemented by Beckman’s versatile and dynamic bass, this trio will have you grooving, body and soul, in this final concert of the season.<strong> </strong></p>
