Emily Guest ’26 has been named the College’s 2025 Lincoln Academy Student Laureate, recognized for her leadership, service and academic excellence. The statewide honor is awarded annually to one outstanding senior from each four-year college and university in Illinois.

Five new directors were recently elected to serve on the Illinois College Alumni Association Board of Directors. Illinois College is mourning the loss of Dr. Axel D. Steuer H’13

Steuer, President Emeritus of Illinois College, died at the age of 81 on August 14, 2024. He served as 13th President of Illinois College from 2003 - 2013. His defining legacy at Illinois College is one of integrity, service, and excellence.
