Tales at Twilight to return as part of Fine Arts Series at Illinois College
Illinois College will host Tales at Twilight as part of the Family Night Series on the Historic Upper Quad on Wednesday, October 28, at 6:30 p.m.
Illinois College invites families and community members to get into the Halloween spirit with Tales at Twilight, an evening of spooky storytelling as part of the College’s Fine Arts Series.
Children and adults alike will enjoy hearing three master storytellers spin spooky tales of the season. The evening will be led by Jacksonville’s own Mike Anderson ’74, whose combination of music, storytelling and humor has made him a sought-after performer throughout the Midwest.
Anderson will be joined by returning favorites Sherry and Bobby Norfolk of St. Louis. Each storyteller will perform at a separate campus location, with audiences rotating between the three venues to experience a variety of entertaining and spine-tingling tales.
The family-friendly event offers an opportunity for the Jacksonville community to celebrate the Halloween season together on Illinois College’s historic campus.
Tickets for Tales at Twilight are available online. Just $5 for adults, children and students are always free.
