What do you enjoy most about working with students?
"My favorite thing about working with nursing students is seeing their lightbulb moments. It can be difficult and overwhelming to see the method to the madness, but with guidance and support, dedicated students will become dedicated nurses. I also enjoy leading students by example, whether that be with patient interactions or by doing the physical work that is needed to care for vulnerable people. I want the students to see that ALL of our patients deserve empathy and care, regardless of their life circumstances."
