Enjoy lunch in the Cumming Dining Hall before sessions begin. This is also a great time to stop by the IC Store to stock up on all the IC gear you’ll need for everything IC! 

12:15 p.m. | Your First-Year Experience
Sibert Theatre, McGaw Fine Arts Center
You will learn about what makes an IC education unique and how we get our incoming students ready to be part of the vibrant academic community at Illinois College. 

Student Sessions

You will participate in each of these sessions throughout the afternoon of READY, Set, Go! 

• Academic Coaching
  Learn about all the ways that our staff who are dedicated to student success will help you to thrive on campus throughout your time at IC. 
• Framing Your Connections
  What do you want your IC Experience to look like? Find out more about how to bring that vision into reality by learning more about the Center for Student Engagement, Inclusion, and Belonging (the CSEIB), and getting your questions answered by Involvement Leaders. We’ll also get you on your way to building community with other new students.
• Living on Campus
  Learn about what it is like to live on campus at Illinois College from Residential Life staff and student Resident Assistants. 
• Course Registration 
  Meet with your registration advisor to discuss and finalize your Fall 2024 class schedule. Leave READY, Set, Go with your schedule in hand.

4:30 p.m. | Campus Tours (optional)

4:30 p.m. | Participate in UnityFest
Join our community members and current students at UnityFest. Our goal for this event is to bridge the gap between Illinois College and local communities. This event aims to be both engaging and enlightening, offering insights into Greek Life, Identity Organizations, and the overall diversity illustrated both in the local community and at Illinois College.

The IC Store, located in Caine Student Center, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
