Enjoy lunch in the Cumming Dining Hall before sessions and registration appointments begin. This is also a great time to stop by the IC Store to stock up on all the IC gear you’ll need for everything IC!

What will your first year look like? This session will explore the First-Year Experience (FYE) to help you envision yourself succeeding on campus. You will hear about academics, social life, volunteer and service opportunities, and what it means to be a first year student.
Students and families will be divided up into Groups A, B, and C. This group letter will indicate your session schedule.

Oh, You're Going to College! What’s Your Major? :: Kirby 110
One of the common and sometimes anxiety producing questions asked is “What’s your major?” The ink is barely dry on your high school diploma and you are expected to have life figured out?! This session will help you think about charting your own path through college and into a meaningful career, no matter what major you choose. Join Kelly Pool, Executive Director of Career Readiness and Experiential Learning to begin to look at your life from a designer’s perspective.
Coaching Across Campus :: Kirby 112
From the classroom to the athletic arenas, all students at Illinois College are supported by a variety of coaches. During your time at IC, you will experience many new transitions, but you don't have to face those challenges alone! Attend the Coaching Across Campus session and meet/learn about how students can count on academic, career, and athletic coaches from the Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) and TRIO; the Office of Career Readiness and Experiential Learning (CREL); and the Athletic Department.
