Illinois College commemorated academic accomplishments during its tenth annual Celebration of Excellence on Friday, April 17. Throughout the day, students and faculty engaged in various activities celebrating academic achievements.

Illinois College celebrates 192nd Commencement

Approximately 185 degrees will be awarded to members of the Class of 2026. Commencement exercises are scheduled to take place in Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center at 1 p.m.

Marvin Romo recognized as a top student with statewide honor

Marvin Romo ’25, a senior biology major with a concentration in physiology, has been named Illinois College’s 2024 Lincoln Laureate. Romo was honored for his academic excellence, leadership, and campus involvement.
