Spirit Day :: On Fridays We Wear Blue
Near or far, show your IC spirit by wearing True Blue or IC spirit wear. Show us your spirit by sharing photos with the hashtag #ICHoco2021.

Alumni Association Board of Directors Meeting :: 3 p.m.
The Alumni Association Board of Directors will hold their fall meeting. The Alumni Association works to support the College, to strengthen the connections between members and their alma mater, and to foster a spirit of fellowship and goodwill among members.

50th Class Reunions of the Classes of 1970 and 1971 :: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. :: Jacksonville Country Club :: RSVP HERE
Members of the Classes of 1970 and 1971 are invited for a social gathering at the Jacksonville Country Club. Complimentary appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available. Class photos will be taken at 6 p.m. 

Alumni Wine and Cheese Reception :: 7 to 9 p.m. :: Wine Barn, Water’s Edge Winery & Bistro
Join Illinois College alumni and friends at the reception hosted by the Alumni Association Board of Directors at Water’s Edge Winery & Bistro. Spend time with head football coach Ray DeFrisco and team captains. Members of the Class of 2020 will be honored guests for the evening and members of the Class of 2020 who have made a gift to the College will receive a commemorative wine glass.

*IIlinois College Homecoming 5k has been CANCELED

Sponsored by Illinois College Athletics, the route will take you through scenic views down College Avenue and State Street, to the historic downtown square and finish back at the Hilltop. The Kids Fun Run is open to children ages 10 and under and will be a 400 meter run around the Ware Family Track.

Open House for Illinois College Society Members :: 9 to 10:30 a.m. :: Alumni House
Illinois College Society members are invited to attend a private morning open house at the Alumni House, at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Mound Road, as a thank you for being philanthropic leaders who support student success. Stop by to celebrate five years of the Illinois College Society with a grab-and-go breakfast!

Breakfast with the Blueboys :: 9 to 10 a.m. :: Cummings Dining Hall, Caine Student Center
Alumni football players share a pre-game meal with the football team, hosted by Conrad Noll III ’65 and Bobby Noll ’02. Head football coach Ray DeFrisco invites all football alumni to join the Blueboys on Green Athletic Field to walk the field and pose for a group photo after breakfast.

Illinois College Homecoming Parade :: 10 a.m. 
Join us for the annual Homecoming parade as it steps off the corner of Church and State Streets in downtown Jacksonville, featuring nearly 100 College and community entries. Members of the Class of 2020 will serve as honorary parade marshals. The parade route will travel east on State to the downtown square, around the southwest corner of the square counterclockwise, and continue south on Main Street. The parade will then turn west on College Avenue heading toward Illinois College, turn south on Park Street and end at the Homecoming Celebration Tent on the corner of Edgehill Road and Park Street. Go behind the scenes to discover how Illinois College collects, preserves and shares campus community history — and explore the Hilltop’s history with artifacts, documents, photographs and more!

Legacy Plaza Ribbon Cutting :: 11:15 a.m. :: Legacy Plaza, Upper Quad
A ribbon cutting will be held for Legacy Plaza, where generous donors have purchased engraved bricks in the heart of the Historic Upper Quad. These bricks leave a legacy and honor people, teams and organizations that made a difference in the lives of members of the Illinois College community. Proceeds of the Illinois College Brick Campaign benefit the IC Fund and make an immediate impact on the lives of students — and inspire them with a lasting reminder of those who came before.

Alumni Campus Tours :: 11:30 a.m. :: Starts at Legacy Plaza
Alumni are invited to discover what is new and remember the past on tours of the Illinois College campus led by current student ambassadors.

Alumni Choir Rehearsal :: 11:30 a.m. :: Choir Rehearsal Room, McGaw Fine Arts Center
Former members of the Illinois College choir are invited to rehearse “The Star Spangled Banner” with music faculty in preparation for a performance just prior to the kickoff of the football game at 1 p.m.

Donor Recognition Luncheon :: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. :: Homecoming Celebration Tent
All 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 Illinois College donors are invited to attend this private event. In addition to a complimentary lunch, our guests will be treated to music, refreshments and a Bloody Mary bar.

Family Activities :: 12 to 3:30 p.m. :: Homecoming Celebration Tent
Alumni and their families can enjoy balloon artists, a face painter, a selfie station and other fun activities free of charge. A special area will be set up for the Class of 2020 to come together and decorate graduation caps. This event is hosted by the Alumni Association.

Blueboys Football vs. Lake Forest College :: 1 p.m. :: Green Athletic Field, England Stadium

  • To help keep our student-athletes healthy and competing, fans not currently enrolled at or employed by Illinois College will be asked to watch the game from the Homecoming Celebration Tent and other locations outside of England Stadium. IC's full Game Day Policy is available here.

Reunions for Class Years Ending in 0, 1, 5 and 6 From 1990-2020 :: 2 to 4 p.m. :: True Blue Lounge, Homecoming Celebration Tent
Classmates from these reunion years are invited to meet and reconnect in a special lounge area under a private tent. Complimentary appetizers and refreshments will be served. Official class reunion photos for these classes will be taken at the following times:

Class of 2020 Celebration :: 11 a.m. :: Homecoming Celebration Tent | LIVE STREAM 
Illinois College is excited to recognize the achievements of the Class of 2020 with a special ceremony to conclude Homecoming Week. Members of the Class of 2020 will be celebrated at this outdoor ceremony with up to four invited guests.

Fine Arts Series :: IC Drumline, A Family Event :: 3 p.m. :: Outdoors, in front of Rammelkamp Chapel
On this family-oriented program, the drumline will perform their current repertoire, as well as involve the younger members of the audience with some hands-on playing opportunities! See ticket details and learn more about the season by visiting the Fine Arts Series page.
