Enrollment Checklist :: International Student

Set Up your IC Student Portal and Email
  • Set up your login information, security questions and authentication by going to login.ic.edu and using the login credentials that you can find at admission.ic.edu/apply/status.
  • Each student receives a Gmail account that is permanent as long as the campus is using Google services. Go to login.ic.edu and select Gmail. Contact the IT Help Desk at servicedesk@ic.edu or call 217.245.3416 if you have issues logging in.

NOTE: Make sure that you are using the Google Chrome web browser when logging into the SSO, as other browsers tend to not work with the SSO login.

Remember to check your IC email on a daily basis, this is how we will communicate with you from today moving forward.

Submit Materials for your Student Visa
  • All international students must submit proof of citizenship and financial support in order for your I-20 to be processed. The I-20 is needed to apply for your student visa.
  • Materials include: Passport Copy, Certification of Finances, Affidavit of Financial Support, and Supporting Financial Statements (for example, bank statement(s) no more than 3 months old). All materials can be uploaded to your IC application portal, or emailed to processing@ic.edu.

Complete and submit Health and Immunizations Forms

Complete your health, immunization and physical form by July 1. Download your health forms below. To return the forms, upload them at login.ic.edu in the Chesley Health and Wellness Center app

If there are required immunizations on this form that you have not yet had, we strongly encourage you to get them in your home country before coming, as it is usually much cheaper in your home country than getting them once you arrive in the USA.

Your home country doctor will have a vaccination record and will know which ones you have had. They can then give you the needed immunizations that are referenced in the Health History form if you do not already have them. Once completed, upload the health forms to your IC application portal. Please return these health forms to IC as soon as possible so that we can review them and let you know if additional vaccines are needed.

Note: International students who arrive in the US without all necessary immunizations will be required to get them during the international student orientation, and at your own expense.
