WELCOME NEW STUDENTS TO ILLINOIS COLLEGE!
Welcome Week promises to be one of the most exciting and busy times of your college life. The First-Year Experience and Transfer Student Experience will provide support as you explore the academic expectations of a liberal arts college and learn about the tradition of excellence at Illinois College. We hope you are ready to jump in and experience all that IC has to offer!
Not only will you meet many of the students, faculty and staff who make up the Illinois College community, but you will also begin your first Illinois College course, learn your way around campus and start to make the Hilltop your home. Your Involvement Leader, resident assistant, academic mentors, and faculty advisors will all serve as resources to help you make the transition throughout your first year at IC.
The Welcome Week schedule is carefully designed to help you maximize your first few days here socially, emotionally, and academically. It should help to keep you organized. Please read it carefully and attend each event or meeting scheduled for you.
