Public Safety

Campus-wide community outreach is practiced by students, faculty, and staff who understand that remaining attentive to the safety needs of our campus is instrumental to proactively creating an environment where criminal behavior is not tolerated.

Patrol 
Security officers conduct foot and vehicle patrols of the campus 24 hours a day when school is in session.

Escort 
An escort to any location on campus may be obtained by calling the Department of Public Safety, and a member of the department will provide this service.

Parking and Enforcement
Parking permits are required to park anywhere on campus. Parking permits are available at the Public Safety Office.

Lockouts 
Students locked out of your residence hall rooms can contact the Department of Public Safety for assistance.

Rape Aggression Defense Program (R.A.D.)
R.A.D. is a national program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques taught for women only and is available to students. All courses are taught by nationally certified R.A.D. Instructors.
