9.05.2025

The Illinois College Fine Arts Series celebrates the announcement of its 46th season with performances by Equinox Chamber Players, Trio Mediæval and more!

The 2025-2026 Fine Arts Series will once again bring nationally and internationally recognized artists to enrich your lives, providing both familiar and new musical treasures. All performances will be held in Rammelkamp Chapel unless otherwise noted.

The season begins on Sunday, September 21, 2025 with a performance by Equinox Chamber Players in Rammelkamp Chapel. In addition to the opening concert, guests are invited to a cookie celebration on the quad in front of Rammelkamp Chapel at 2 p.m. before the concert.

Families of all ages are invited to attend Illinois College’s Fall Festival, where the Burr Oak String Band will perform on Wednesday, October 15, at 6 p.m. Jacob Hofeling, renowned musician, will perform an organ improvisation to accompany an abridged version of the 1922 silent film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.

The series will also bring back the Engelbach-Hart Music Festival, which offers three free concerts open to the community. Quartetto Gelato opens the festival on Thursday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m. with an enchanting and eclectic program, followed by an Illinois College Faculty Collage Concert on Friday, November 14 and will conclude Saturday, November 15 with Duo 220.

Other season highlights include performances by Trio Mediæval and a family-friendly concert by Tom Irwin.

The 46th season concludes in April with the return of a Jacksonville favorite, St. Louis’ extraordinary jazz pianist Carolbeth True and her trio Two Times True, plus Kim Fuller, one of St. Louis’ most popular and versatile vocalists, in a dazzling program of jazz and gospel standards.

Adult season tickets are available for $70, which is a $15 savings over purchasing tickets individually. Adult tickets to individual concerts are available for $20 per concert, except for the family programs when adult tickets will be just $5. As always, students of all ages and children are admitted free of charge to all concerts. Tickets are available for purchase in advance by phone at 217.245.3192.
