Illinois College Professor Emeritus of History Steve Hochstadt will read excerpts from his recent book, "Freedom of the Press in Small-Town America: My Opinions'' on Thursday, June 10 at 4:00 p.m. in Dunham Auditorium in Crispin Hall. In-person attendance is limited to Illinois College faculty and staff. The public is invited to attend the book reading virtually by streaming for free at www.ic.edu/FreePress. 
 
A book signing and outdoor reception will be held on the patio of Baxter Hall at 5:00 p.m. following the reading. The public is invited to attend.
