Bloomington Presidential Tour Event

Hosts Mike '92 and Beth Doty Fletcher '92, Todd '86 and Sabrina Fox Smith '86, and Steve '76 and Gail Johnson Vandevender '74 invite alumni, parents and friends to a complimentary reception to meet Barbara A. Farley, the 14th President of Illinois College in Bloomington, Ill. The event will include light fare, beverages, remarks from President Farley and a time for questions. Celebration of Excellence Alumni Networking Event

Illinois College students are invited to meet Illinois College alumni during a reception at the Alumni House as a part of the College's Celebration of Excellence. Dozens of alumni will meet with interested students and share with them their career path beginning as a student on the Hilltop.
Class of 2014 Wine and Cheese Reception

Members of the Class of 2014 are invited to the Alumni House for the annual "Senior Wine and Cheese" event. The Office of Development and Alumni Relations and the Alumni Association embraces this opportunity as a way to celebrate the Class of 2014 during their final week on campus. Golden Club Alumni Mixer

Hosted by Diana Dawdy Chesley ’58 and Roger Ezard ’58, the Classes of 1939, 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959 and 1964 are invited to a social at the new Alumni House at the corner of Mound and Lincoln avenues Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and prizes will be offered by the Illinois College Alumni Association. Osage Orange Festival
:: Friday, May 9, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
:: Steuer Walkway (formerly known as the Illinois College Walkway)
Open to the Illinois College family and the Jacksonville community, the Osage Orange Festival will be held on the Steuer Walkway. Mini pulled pork and chicken sandwiches will be served with macaroni and cheese, home style chips with seasoning, coleslaw and brownies. In addition, grilled corn on the cob, a cotton candy station and fruit bars will be offered. Beverages include sweet tea, lemonade and fruit punch. Meals cost $11 (adults), $6 (children 5-12) and free (Class of 2014, children 4 and younger.) Beer and wine will be available for purchase, as well.

Back by popular demand, southern Illinois bluegrass band “The Harmans” will entertain outdoors on the Steuer Walkway, compliments of the Illinois College Alumni Association. 50th Reunion Luncheon for Class of 1964 
:: Saturday, May 10, 12 noon social; 1 p.m. lunch
:: Jacksonville Country Club, 100 Country Club Road
The Class of 1964 is invited back to Jacksonville for a social, 50th reunion diploma ceremony and meal. Each attendee will be afforded time to address the rest of his or her class to update them on professional and personal achievements, and explain how Illinois College has shaped his or her life. If unable to attend, please send an update to be read aloud at the luncheon.

2nd Annual Literary Society Pre-Love Feast Social
:: Saturday, May 10, 3 to 5 p.m.
:: Steuer Walkway (formerly known as Illinois College Walkway)

Open to all literary society alumni, actives and their families, the second annual Literary Society Pre-Love Feast Social will be held outdoors on the Steuer Walkway. The Dean of Student’s annual awards will be presented at the social that will include complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Jacksonville musician Jeff Newman will provide live entertainment. Baccalaurate Prelude Music and Ceremony
:: Sunday, May 11, 10 a.m. music, 10:30 a.m. ceremony
:: Rammelkamp Chapel
Class of 2014 graduates will assemble dressed in cap and gown along the sidewalk south of Tanner Hall with the head of the line at the Jonathan Baldwin Turner stone near the Osage Orange tree. The graduates will proceed into Rammelkamp Chapel two by two, in no specific order. Seating will be reserved for graduates in the chapel. Family and guests are welcome to be seated where they are most comfortable and are encouraged to arrive before 10 a.m. when the Department of Music will begin to perform music before the ceremony.

In case of inclement weather, the Class of 2014 will assemble in the basement of Rammelkamp Chapel. 
Commencement Luncheon for alumni, graduates and their families
:: Sunday, May 11, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
:: Cummings Dining Hall, The Uncommons
The luncheon buffet includes breaded chicken breast, sliced ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a dessert bar. A complimentary graduation luncheon will be offered to members of the Class of 2014 in Cummings Dining Hall and The Uncommons. Additional meals cost $5 for adults and children over the age of 5. 180th Commencement Exercise
:: Sunday, May 11, 3 p.m.
:: Historic Upper Quadrangle
Members of the Class of 1964 are invited to march with the new graduates and faculty during the processional. Seats will be reserved for these 50th reunion attendees. Illinois College does not issue tickets to graduates, family and guests attending the commencement ceremony. Chairs and bleachers are provided by the College on a first-come first-served basis. Many guests bring their own lawn chairs. Water stations will be provided.
Employee Donor Appreciation Wine and Cheese Reception
:: Friday, May 30, 3 to 5 p.m.
:: Alumni House
Faculty and staff who made a donation to Illinois College during the 2013-2014 fiscal year are invited to attend a reception with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The event will also feature live entertainment by Jacksonville musician Jeff Newman. Gifts will be accepted that day at the Alumni House.
