Event Description

A captivating and versatile piano virtuoso, Pei-I Wang is coordinator of keyboard studies at Millikin University. She has performed with orchestras in the U.S. and in Asia, and has received awards in several piano competitions in the U.S. and Europe. As a keen advocate of contemporary music and rare masterworks, Wang has performed new music to critical acclaim across the country. Her recording of Carl Czerny’s four-handed piano fantasies with Sam Gingher is available on the Naxos label. While she has previously performed in the Fine Arts Series with flutist Abigail Walsh, this concert will mark her first solo performance in the series.
