Assistant/Associate Professor and Director of Nursing

Illinois College seeks a dynamic nurse educator who is current with best practices in nursing education to lead a growing nursing program.  The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree and experience with both college teaching and administrative leadership. Passion for the nursing profession, for education, and for program development is essential. This is an extraordinary opportunity to lead growth.

The nursing program began offering classes in 2019 at the baccalaureate level and received CCNE accreditation in 2021. The program is now launching the MSN online. This position will be primarily administrative, with some teaching duties (approximately 15% time).

MSN and doctorate required(DNP, Ph.D., or Ed.D). Minimum 10 years professional experience with at least five in higher education strongly preferred. Experience as well with program development, management, and leadership. Preference for experience with both BSN and MSN programs.
