Dr. Angela Bentley's nursing practice experience is in cardiovascular and critical care, including cardiovascular intensive care, heart failure/heart transplant, and emergency air transport in addition to several years in staff development/clinical nurse specialist.

She is a board-certified Cardiac Vascular Nurse, emeritus-certified critical care nurse (CCRN), and a certified Nurse Educator.

She holds professional memberships in the following organizations: Society for Vascular Nursing (Board of Directors), Sigma Theta Tau (Board of Directors), American College of Cardiology, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Heart Association, and the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association.

In addition to authoring published articles on peripheral artery disease, she has also co-authored a chapter in a medical textbook: Technical Aspects of ICU-CCU Care in Primary Care Management of Heart Disease, Mosby, 2000. She also reviews research grants for the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

I enjoy watching students increase their confidence in knowledge as they progress through the nursing program.
