The Illinois College campus is rich with history (and spooky tales!) Join us as we share legends of ghosts and spirits that walk these very grounds. Walking tacos, donuts, and hot apple cider provided along the way! Tours will leave at 6 p.m., 6:20 p.m., and 6:40 p.m.Lady Blues Volleyball vs. Monmouth College :: Attack Cancer Night
7 p.m. :: Sherman Gymnasium, Bruner Fitness and Recreation CenterWitness IC Volleyball in action as they take on Monmouth College! Fans are encouraged to wear pink and support donations towards breast cancer by purchasing pink ribbons. The Blue Crew will also be sponsoring a costume contest for students. Join the National Society of Leadership and Success for their fundraiser promoting breast cancer awareness. Participants will be supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, and celebrating hope. $2 per student and $3 per adult, which includes a wrist band and all proceeds going to the Mia Ware Foundation.Illinois College Fine Arts Series: Engelbach-Hart Music Festival, Cantus Vocal Ensemble :: 3 p.m. :: Rammelkamp Chapel
You are cordially invited to attend the Engelbach-Hart Music Festival, to be held again this year in October. This admission free event is a gift to the community and will consist of three concerts. Sunday’s 3 p.m. concert will feature the internationally renowned a cappella vocal ensemble, Cantus. The “engaging” (New Yorker) low-voice ensemble Cantus is widely known for its trademark warmth and blend, innovative programming and riveting performances of music ranging from the Renaissance to the 21st century. The Washington Post has hailed the Cantus sound as having both “exalting finesse” and “expressive power” and refers to the “spontaneous grace” of its music making. The Philadelphia Inquirer called the group nothing short of “exquisite.”
