Tenure-Track Position in Accounting 

Illinois College invites applications for a full-time position in Accounting to begin Spring 2021. Candidates should be able to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in accounting. Strong preference for ability to contribute to the Business program more generally, for instance through teaching introductory courses in economics, finance, or other related fields. Additional duties will include contribution to the ongoing development of other business programs. We seek a candidate who values the liberal arts and is able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and scholarship. Teaching load is three four-credit courses per semester. Faculty work closely with students both in and outside the classroom and serve the college in a variety of other ways. Professional accounting experience and quality teaching experience are strongly preferred. A completed Doctorate is preferred, but highly qualified master’s-prepared (with professional certification) or ABD candidates will be considered for the tenure-track position. Candidates not meeting the above qualifications (must have appropriate masters) will be considered for a continuing position.
