Simplified Transfer Process

Simplified Transfer Process

UHSP students with a 2.0 GPA or higher in at least 12 hours of college credit are eligible to attend Illinois College and avoid a complicated transfer process. No application. No deposit.

  • Submit a Transfer Request in lieu of an application
  • Receive a credit transfer evaluation
  • Add Illinois College to your FAFSA and receive a financial aid offer
  • Contact Illinois College to connect with admission counselors, future professors in your major, support staff, and coaches
  • Submit an Enrollment Commitment Form
     

Customized Options | Which sounds like you?

>> You will have 87 credit hours or more by the end of spring semester. You may be eligible for a Teach-Out plan. See our list of Teach-Out majors below. Those eligible for a Teach-Out:


>> You have 60-86.9 credit hours by the end of spring semester. You may be eligible for special scholarships and transfer accommodations just for UHSP students, including:

  • For all completed coursework to be accepted as transfer credit to Illinois College.
  • To complete UHSP's general education program and IC's major requirements.

>> You have fewer than 60 credit hours. You may be eligible for scholarships just for UHSP students:

  • Receive credit for all 100-level course or higher with grades of “C-” or better

Scholarships and Transfer Accommodations

  • Receive credit for all 100-level course or higher with grades of C- or better
  • Illinois College will provide at least $23,000 in scholarships and will use FAFSA information and your 2025-2026 UHSP financial aid offer to match your out-of-pocket costs for the 2026-2027 school year at UHSP*

New Student planning to enroll at UHSP this fall? 

  • Illinois College will provide at least $21,000 in scholarships and will use FAFSA information to provide additional financial aid based on need. Qualified Illinois residents will have 100% of demonstrated need met through state, federal, and Illinois College programs.
  • Utilize the simplified application form to fast track your admission to Illinois College.
