Nicholas

Nick has held various leadership positions in Sigma Pi literary society, completed student-faculty research and worked to promote healthy lifestyle choices as a peer health educator. He has also worked with autistic youth, inviting them to share his love of sports and recreation on a trip to Bruner Fitness Center. As a member of IC’s soccer team, Nick has found that athletics have also taught him to be a better leader.

“In my future career, working in the medical field, I will need to be a leader for the hospital. Being involved in soccer is one way IC has helped me establish the necessary character traits and skills. I play defense for the team, so I am kind of the last man back. I can see the whole field and have teammates that depend on me. Being involved with college sports has made me better prepared for my future.”
