Estate and Planned Gifts

Bill
Throughout the College’s history, trustees, alumni, parents and friends have left a legacy on the Hilltop through estate gifts. These
planned gifts, as they are referred, are deeply meaningful and leave a lasting impact through a gift realized after the donor’s lifetime.

Featured Student

“There is no way that I would have had the chance to travel and present at these conferences without the opportunity to apply for and receive funding from the College. I cannot thank the donors enough for being so generous and giving IC students these opportunities.”

Lauren Estes ’19, Received funding to complete student-faculty research working with Dr. Miranda Karban through a gift by the Greg ’74 & Tonya Johnson Baise ’76 family to IC’s Student Research Fund. She also received a funding from the Joel and Elise Leaks Harmon Student-Faculty Research Fund to travel and attend the Illinois State Academy of Science Conference. The Tillery Student-Faculty Collaboration Fund allowed her to travel and present her work
at the University American Association of Physical Anthropology Annual Meeting in Cleveland, Ohio, which is the largest and most important annual conference in the field of biological anthropology. Lauren is currently earning a Master of Science in Management degree in the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.
