Online degree program expands opportunities for working ag professionals - Illinois College
Illinois College’s online agribusiness management program continues to change lives by giving working professionals the opportunity to advance their careers from the comfort of their home.

With the flexibility to work while furthering their education, professionals who want to increase their knowledge of business principles within the agricultural framework and adults with an associate degree wanting to complete their bachelor’s are finding the program to be a great way to advance their career goals.

“I chose the online agribusiness management program at IC because I was impressed with the opportunities outlined on the website, including the chance to connect with major agriculture companies and to gain knowledge that will help me pursue a new career,” said Erik Stover ’21. “I needed a program that was both online to fit with my schedule and was also going to provide me with a good experience, and IC online was the best fit.”

As interest in the on-campus agribusiness management program has continued to grow since it began in 2018, the adoption of the online program in 2019 gave the College the opportunity to expand the robust program. Doing so made it possible to meet the needs of a more diverse demographic of students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s in agribusiness.

Since its conception, the online agribusiness program has grown fervently and is IC’s largest online program.

IC Online programs are designed for students in need of a flexible class schedule that allows them to balance their responsibilities, while advancing their careers and reaping the benefits of an Illinois College education.
