Adventurous students are invited to explore alpine lakes, iconic peaks, and stunning glaciers in the Patagonia region of Argentina.

Cost: $3,865 ($2,865 when a BreakAway stipend is applied)
You will begin in Buenos Aires, visiting some local cultural sites. After that, you will travel to El Chalten for a guided trek through classic routes in the area. This will be a rugged and strenuous trip that includes hiking significant distances, lake kayaking, and sleeping in rustic huts. In return, you will be rewarded with spectacular night skies, iconic mountains views, and a once in a lifetime adventure. The focus of the course will be on ecotourism and the positive/negative impacts on the local economy and natural environment.
