Unofficial transcripts are available for personal use on Connect2 True Blue. There is NO DIFFERENCE in the content of the official and unofficial copies, except that official copies have higher security against tampering. Copies sent directly to you in print, PDF scan via email, or by fax will be unofficial because they lack the security paper and seals of official copies. If you need to include your transcript with other materials, we can issue a transcript in a sealed envelope addressed to a specific recipient. Check with your intended recipient to determine their preferred method of delivery.
If you have a business office hold, your transcripts will not be available in any format until your financial obligation is met.
The Illinois College Office of the Registrar now has Secure Transcripts™ from Exchange Parchment. It is the secure, electronic way to request and send transcripts. It is easy to use, it is safe and available 24/7 so if you are working on an application in your dorm room, you can request a transcript at any time, day or night! Exchange Parchment will deliver your transcripts anywhere they need to go for a small fee depending on the delivery method..
Here’s how to request a transcript:
- Go to Exchange Parchment
- Create an account (initial visit only) using your email address – complete your profile and choose your password
- Complete your registration through the confirmation email sent by Exchange Parchment
- Select the destination you want your transcript to go
- Sign the user agreement and pay online
The Office of the Registrar will process your requests, and submit them to Exchange Parchment
electronically for delivery. Exchange Parchment will provide your official transcript in the preferred format(s) of the recipient(s) and confirm delivery via email when possible—so you will know when your transcripts have reached their destinations. You can track your requests by signing in to your account and viewing your transcript requests.
