Templeton Counseling Center
Templeton Counseling Center (TCC) has an integral part in fulfilling the educational mission of Illinois College and the Division of Student Affairs. The Center is dedicated to providing students with psychological support as they pursue their academic and personal goals, and to acquiring skills that will enable them to grow and develop throughout their college years and into their future.
Counseling Services
The counselor will be an advocate for student needs, and for program development that support the efforts of faculty and staff in improving the college environment. Templeton Counseling Center offers:
- personal counseling
- educational counseling/programming
- support services for special needs/at risk students.
Templeton Counseling Center (TCC) offers a range of personal counseling services:short and long term counseling, support groups, programming and referrals to off-campus resources.Services are free to IC students. IC is also contracted with an off-campus counseling agency, Clinical Associates Division of Community Counseling Services. There is a $5.00 co-pay for their services. Contact TCC for details and referral information. If a student has a special learning disabilities need, TCC can assist in working with faculty and other campus resources.Arrangements can be made for learning disabilities assessment whenever warranted. All services are strictly confidential.
