Hi. My name is Lauren Dwyer and I am an admission counselor at Illinois College. I am from Jerseyville, located 40 miles south of Jacksonville. I recently just graduated from Illinois College in 2010, with a Bachelor of Science degree and a major in Communication & Rhetorical Studies. During my four years at IC, I was involved in Student Forum, Best Buddies, Homecoming Committee, Student Ambassador and the Room and Board Committee. Through Illinois College, I was fortunate enough to travel to Ireland and gain a great deal of knowledge as well as memories that will last a lifetime. Illinois College has been a part of my family for quite some time due to the fact that my mother, father and brother are IC alums. My time at Illinois College has been an amazing experience and I look forward to many more memories to come in my future.
I work with students from Delaware, District of Columbia, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia as well as the following counties in Illinois: Jersey, Madison, Monroe, and Saint Clair.
