An academic minor consists of 18 to 24 hours of work with grades as designated in a particular field. Students are not required to have a minor but may elect to complete one or more. Students may minor in accounting, art, biology, chemistry, communication and rhetorical studies, finance, French, gender and women's studies, German, history, international studies, Japanese, management and organizational leadership, mathematics, music, philosophy, physics, political science, psychology, religion, sociology, Spanish, and theatre.
