IC to host the Illinois State Academy of Science annual meeting
Illinois College will host the 105th annual meeting of the Illinois State Academy of Science on Friday and Saturday, April 5-6. More than 200 undergraduate and graduate students and faculty from throughout Illinois and the region are expected to attend the conference which will feature displays, discussions on science research and a keynote address from astronomer Pamela Gay.

Throughout the two-day program there will be more than 150 poster and oral presentations. This includes 15 Illinois College students that will present their research including projects funded by internal grants such as the C. Reed Parker Faculty Development Grant and Margaret A. Cargill Foundation. There are also 20 different institutions throughout the region taking part in the ISAS annual meeting.
