| “Istanpitta” brings medieval music to Illinois College |

|  The medieval music ensemble, “Istanpitta,” will perform “Exiled” on Saturday, February 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Rammelkamp Chapel as part of Illinois College’s Fine Arts Series.
The group will present a musical journey that explores the expulsion of the Jewish people from Medieval Spain and their travels to the Middle East. The program will highlight the cultural fusion of Western and Eastern influences in Spain with songs, instrumental works and stories.
The “Istanpitta” concert is the fourth of six performances in the Fine Arts Series. Tickets for the concert cost $15. The concert series offers free admission to students of all ages, regardless of where they attend school.
