Lincoln's Security Detail is Illinois College's improvisation troupe.
This year they were Windy City Regional finalists in the national College Improv Tournament. Each spring, they hold workshops for interested students and auditions for new members. The troupe rehearses weekly and performs regularly on campus and at local community venues. Exhibiting both long-form and short-form improv, Lincoln's Security Detail shows are greeted enthusiastically by students and townspeople alike.
Alpha Psi Omega
is the national theatre honor society. Students who exhibit high academic achievement as well as a spirit of collaboration and dedication to the theatre program will be admitted. Alpha Psi Omega organizes and sponsors different kinds of theatre activities, some just for its own membership and some open to the wider college community. Their events include going to see regional theatre productions, bringing in guest artists to do workshops, having a playwriting contest and staging readings, etc.

This group also serves as a liaison between students and the Department of Theatre, passing along suggestions concerning course offerings, upcoming seasons, and any other issues students wish to bring to the department's notice.
Eligibility requirements for Alpha Psi Omega:
I. Minimum GPA of 3.0
II. A total of 75 points from a least two of the following categories:
