Join us as we celebrate the fall sports teams, introduce the members of the Homecoming Court, kick off class games with an eating contest, hear remarks from the 2012 Parade Marshal and enjoy the official kick-off to the homecoming festivities. Each audience member will receive a brochure with information about the homecoming court so you can vote wisely!

Homecoming court consists of Junior class men and women. The king and queen are voted on by the entire student body. Pick your representatives well!

Timeflies Homecoming Special Event Concert :: 8:30 p.m.

Each year the students choose a very special event to add to the week's homecoming festivities. The homecoming committee is thrilled to announce the choice for this year's Homecoming 2012 Special Event! This year we are excited to have YouTube sensation and new recording artist Timeflies!

This incredible duo, Cal (vocalist) and Rez (producer), have been combining the genre breaking musical styles of pop, hip-hop, electro, dub step, and rock since they began in Boston two years ago. Their unique sound and original freestyles will rock our campus during this year's homecoming week! Stay tuned for more information about ticket sales by liking the Center for Student Involvement Facebook page and looking for campus announcements.

A fun talent competition between individuals, groups and organizations. Singing, dancing, comedy and skits - all in one show! The event ends with the crowning of the homecoming king and queen.

Party with the Royalty!  - Free Food and Music on the Quad :: 10 p.m.
Upper Quad

A new tradition to keep the party going! After follies, head outside for some free food and music with your newly crowned homecoming King and Queen.

5K Run and 4K Family Walk  :: 8:30 a.m.
Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center (7:45 a.m. On-site Registration)

IC students, alumni and Jacksonville community members come together for a 5K run/4K family walk. Pre-register for the race by calling 217.245.3046 or visiting www.ic.edu/alumni to download a registration form. Official moisture wicking race t-shirts will be guaranteed to those who pre-register by Friday, September 28.

The Jacksonville and IC community come together for the annual Homecoming parade. The biggest one in Jacksonville! Student organizations are encouraged to participate in the parade. Registration forms can be found in the Center for Student Involvement.
