Annually, the Illinois College Alumni Association Board of Directors honors admirable and praiseworthy service given by alumni and friends in diverse areas of significance. The following Leadership and Service Awards include a link listing the names of alumni and friends who have been recognized.

Alumni Distinguished Service
Alumni Distinguished Service Award recipients have given meritorious service to Illinois
College as well as their greater community, state and nation. Recipients have made a
significant contribution to intellectual life and have provided service to humanitarian and/or
charitable causes. As an Illinois College alumna or alumnus, each recipient must have
observed at least their 15th class reunion.

Young Alumna/Alumnus
The Young Alumna/Alumnus Award recipient is not yet 40 years old and whose meritorious
service to Illinois College and professional achievement is noteworthy. One’s service to their
greater community, state and nation is honorable as well as having made a providing service
to humanitarian and charitable causes.

Faculty Ambassador
Faculty Ambassador Award recipients are Illinois College faculty members who through
community service and professional achievement have brought good will to the College.

Friend of the College The Friend of the College Award recognizes an individual who, though not an alumna or
alumnus, has supported Illinois College financially as well as other significant and generous
ways.
