On this website, you will see the college community in worship, learning, singing, relating and being supportive. What's harder to see is that every part of our religious family is in motion. Every person here is a growing, changing miracle - a child of God evolving into the person God has called her or him to be.
So, as you look at this, use your spiritual imagination. What's really happening behind the scenes is the work of God's Spirit in this college community. It is the Spirit that comes to each of us in Christ, empowering us in life and carrying us safely through this period of learning and growth that our students are presently experiencing. It is our hope that you will join us in that journey.
Illinois College offers a variety of Christian groups to fulfill everyone's spiritual needs. Whether it be B.A.S.I.C. or the Newman Club, IC offers something for everyone.
Every Wednesday, Chaplain Eason holds chapel services open to the entire IC community. From our own praise band (Sunday Jaywalkers) to outside speakers, chapel offers many fellowship opportunities.
Over the past year, IC has seen a tremendous increase in the number of people who take part in religious activities on campus. We have a look at what this increase means for the future of our spiritual community.
