Admission Process

The Admission Committee reviews each applicant's academic record, extracurricular activities, recommendations and personal essay for evidence of academic and intellectual integrity, the ability to communicate effectively and the ability to foster tolerance and respect for fellow members of the Illinois College community. The admission process is selective, with only those students with a strong likelihood of success being offered admission.

:: Early Action Admission - December 15
:: Regular Admission - March 15
:: FAFSA Submission - March 1*
:: Candidate Reply Date - May 1
*Illinois students should submit as early as possible following January 1
Requirements for Admission
:: Complete and submit FREE application for admission
:: Submit official high school transcript
:: Submit Secondary School Report (completed by high school counselor)
:: Submit ACT or SAT*
*Illinois College is an ACT/SAT test score optional school. Students who feel that their scores do not match their academic ability may select optional. However, if a student is admitted and does plan to enroll, we require the submission of the scores for course placement.
Campus Visits
We encourage all students to visit the campus. Personal or Preview Day visits are available throughout the fall and spring semesters. High school counselor visits are welcomed as well.
