Welcome to Illinois College and the Women's Softball Team. The IC softball team is interested in highly dedicated student-athletes that love the game and are willing to put the time and energy into making this program successful.
Illinois College competes in the very competitive Midwest Conference. The conference includes NCAA Division III schools from Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. For softball, the conference is split into two divisions: the North and the South. Each division plays a double header against each of the other teams in the division and then meet in a Crossover Tournament to play the schools of the opposite division. The two top finishers in each division move on at the end of the season to play a double elimination tournament. The winner is the Midwest Conference Champion and is given an automatic berth to the Division III regional tournament.
