Success has been Brenna Kelly’s trademark. After raking up nearly 207 wins in her first 16 seasons, Kelly is well on her way to becoming one of the most successful coaches in the College’s long athletic history.
The Kahoka, MO native and former Culver-Stockton College standout has compiled impressive credentials since taking over the reins of the Lady Blues’ program in 1987. That run produced a league title in 1993 and runner-up finishes in 1997, 1998, and 1999.
In addition to being recognized as one of the most successful coaches in Illinois College sports history, Kelly is credited with have done more to advance and promote women’s athletics on the hilltop campus than any of her predecessors. Her induction into the Illinois College Sports Hall of Fame in 1996 underscored her status as one of IC’s all-time coaching leaders.
