Head Coach - Gale Vaughn

Gale Vaughn is a former football standout and most valuable player for the Blueboys. He won all-state gridiron honors and was a three-time NAIA all-district selection for his play at linebacker. The Camden, Illinois native also lettered in track, specializing in the javelin. Selected as winner of IC’s William J. Downer Award as Male Athlete of the Year in 1977-78. He served as co-captain for the nationally-ranked 1977 Blueboy team that finished 7-1. He graduated in 1978 and also serves as IC’s athletic director.
