1. At least four people are needed to start, 2 players in the field must
be female.
2. Each team member should bring a light and dark colored shirt to wear.
3. Game time is forfeit time.
4. Teams will consist of 5 players, one being the goalie.
5. Substitutions can be made at any time. All players not in the game
must be outside their respective curtain and cannot enter until a leaving
player passes the baseline on their way out.
6. No checking (penalty - direct kick)
7. Direct kicks will occur from the top of the 3 point arc.
8. If the ball hits the ceiling or lights, an indirect kick is given from
the point where the ball was kicked. All other obstructions are in play
(basketball backboards).
9. No offsides
10. No slide tackles, or excessive physical contact (penalty - direct
kick, expulsion)
11. Goalies may not use their hands outside of the three point arc. The
goalie may dive to stop or deflect the ball. Opponent must stay three
feet away from the goalie when he/she is attempting to stop the ball.
12. All goalie throws must be underhand and touch the floor or one person
before the center line.
13. Direct Free Kick awarded for:
Kicking, tripping, jumping at opponent, pushing, holding, charging, handling
the ball.
14. Indirect Free Kick awarded for:
Goalkeeper taking more than six seconds, dangerous play, obstruction other
than holding, and slide tackle.
15. Penalty kicks may be awarded if an intentional foul occurs within
the 3 point arc. Penalty kicks will take place from the free throw line.
All players must be at least 10 feet away from the penalty spot.
16. Give 12 feet (4 paces) on all free kicks.
17. Games will be 24 minutes in length with a 5 minute half (running clock,
no time outs).
18. Tie games: Individual defending the goal at the end of the game will
defend the goal while the opposing team's 4 players shoot penalty shots
from the foul line. Goalies do not shoot.
19. The ball must cross completely over the plane of the goal.
