Bruner Center Policies

Through the generosity of many people and the careful stewardship of the Illinois College Board of Trustees, the Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center has been constructed for the benefit of the students, faculty and staff of Illinois College. These individuals, by virtue of their association with the College, will receive complimentary membership in and use of the Center. Proper identification is needed to use the facility. At present, memberships are not available to the general public.

The Bruner Center was built for the primary purpose of promoting wellness on campus by providing a venue for recreation and competitive athletic programs. Public events may be hosted at the Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center when they do not interfere with student usage of the facility. Terms and fees for public use will be determined on a per event basis, in accordance with the College’s facilities fee structure. Priority consideration will be given to those events that further the mission and goals of the College.

We hope you take advantage of this outstanding new facility to enhance your physical fitness, wellness and leisure time.
