Doris Hopper Award
The Doris B. Hopper Award for Women honors the outstanding female student-athlete of the year. Doris B. Hopper was instrumental in the development of women’s athletics on the hilltop campus. She completed 30 years of service at IC in 1984 and was named associate dean emeritus of communications and theatre. Candidates for the award must have won the Most Valuable Player award in their respective sport during the preceding year. The voting is conducted among active letter winners.
