Illinois College is a four-year, private, liberal arts institution with an enrollment of 1,023 undergraduate students, situated between Chicago, IL and St. Louis, MO (in the heartland of Abraham Lincoln and Mark Twain). We do not offer any graduate programs. We are located in Jacksonville, IL in west central Illinois; 235 miles southwest of Chicago, IL; 90 miles north of St. Louis, MO; 30 miles west of Springfield, IL (state capital); and 60 miles east of the Mississippi River. Jacksonville is a friendly community of 25,000 people with clean air, clean water, and a low crime rate.
International students may apply for either the Fall semester or the Spring semester. Applicants should have completed primary and secondary education before matriculation at Illinois College, and should have completed any national examinations normally required at the end of secondary study for college admission.
On campus housing is available to all international students during the academic year, as well as holidays and breaks.
