Personal expenses, textbooks and supplies, and travel costs are not included in the direct cost. Students should plan to include these costs in their educational budget. Books are estimated to cost $425 per semester.
Scholarships, grants, loans and employment opportunities are awarded to over 96% of our student body. Every student who is admitted to Illinois College and applies for financial aid is automatically considered for all available Illinois College and government need-based assistance.
To apply for financial aid, a student must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). A student may file the FAFSA on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The traditional paper version of the FAFSA is available from your high school guidance counselor's office or the Illinois College Financial Aid Office.
To receive a financial aid award letter a student must:
1. Be admitted to Illinois College
2. File the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1st
3. On the FAFSA list Illinois College to receive the information. Our school code is 001688.
