Application Materials

First-Year Student Application Requirements

Step 1 :: Apply for Admission
  • Students may use the IC application or common application
Step 2 :: Submit School Report to high school counselor

Step 3 :: Submit Official High School Transcript
  • High school transcripts must include coursework completed through at least junior year
Step 4 :: Submit Test Scores - ACT or SAT
  • Standardized test scores are not required for admission to Illinois College
  • The admission committee will closely review the strength of high school course selection, G.P.A., essay, and overall involvement for those wishing not to submit test scores.
  • Students enrolling at Illinois College, must submit test scores prior to registration to assist in appropriate course placement.
  • Illinois College codes: ACT: 1034 or SAT and TOEFL: 1315
  • Home school students are required to submit test scores for admission.

High School Admission Requirements
1. Academic Record
  • 4 years of English/Language Arts
  • 3-4 years of Mathematics with Algebra 2 minimum
  • 2 years of lab science
  • 2 years of social science (including U.S. History)
  • 2 years of foreign language preferred if offer at high school
  • Students are highly encouraged to take academic honors, AP, and/or IB courses.
*Students from Indiana are required to have Core 40 or Academic Honors curriculum.

2. SAT and/or ACT scores
  • Standardized test scores are not required for admission to Illinois College.
