Academic Advising

Academic advising at Illinois College is an integral part of the college experience and is available to all students of the college. First year students are assigned to faculty advisors who remain with them formally until a major is declared. Students are assigned a faculty advisor from the major department when they are admitted into the major, usually during the sophomore or beginning of the junior year. Students intending engineering majors stay with their advisors until they transfer.
