Sturtevant Hall (1857; remodeled 1993)


Sturtevant Hall is named for Julian Sturtevant, second president of the College. It contains classrooms and offices for the Education, English and Sociology departments. The Sturtevant tower has become a symbolic landmark for the College, and its likeness appears in many publications.
