The Billhartz Summer Research Program supports students carrying out scholarly work and creative activities under the supervision of a faculty mentor. Student researchers work directly with faculty mentors as they gain important analytic, technical, writing, and presenting skills. This 10-week, on-campus summer research program, in addition to other research funds available throughout the academic and summer semesters, is for IC students who wish to study outside the classroom. Students from all disciplines are invited to participate!
Illinois College provides full-time student researchers a $2,500 stipend while half-time student researchers receive $1,250. The program runs from June-August.
