Great Decisions series begins January 21 at IC
The public is invited to voice their opinions on world affairs and U.S. foreign policy during Illinois College’s 33rd annual Great Decisions series which begins Tuesday, January 21.

The eight-week discussion group meets Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in Room 106 of Baxter Hall. Topics this year include Israel and the U.S., Turkey, energy independence, China’s foreign policy and U.S. trade policy.

Moderator Winston Wells, associate professor of political science, encourages newcomers and returning participants to purchase the program’s briefing book at the Illinois College bookstore after Monday, January 13, or online at www.fpa.org.

The Great Decisions program is organized nationally by the Foreign Policy Association which provides participants with background information on current world affairs. At each session participants discuss an issue for an hour and then spend 15 minutes voting on an opinion ballot.

For more information about the discussion series please contact Winston Wells at 217.245.3089 or at wwells@mail.ic.edu.
