In the news: IC speaker tells students to embrace technology, be able to adapt
The former editor-in-chief of USA Today told his audience of college students that they need to continue to embrace technology and forget about getting a job that they will make into a long career.

Ken Paulson, speaking in a packed Illinois College lecture hall Wednesday night, told the students they may change jobs seven times in their lifetime and that they need to be able to adapt to a changing world while still following their passion.

“You are the most coveted audience in the world,” he said. “You’re young, smart people with credit cards. You have the capability of driving this nation in a positive way.”
